CanaryMedic was founded with the belief that healthcare should create positive impact beyond the consultation room. The people who live here — the residents who make the islands what they are — matter to us.
We’re currently in our startup phase, which means we’re now beginning the process of identifying and selecting the local island projects and organizations we’ll support.
From booking #1 onward, 10% of the doctor’s fee is reserved for giving back. This donation share is held securely and will be paid out once the first projects have been selected for each island — ensuring the funds go where they create real, local value.
We welcome your help in the selection. If you know trusted initiatives on Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria or Tenerife, we’d love your recommendations.
We handle everything transparently: doctors receive an official donation receipt, and 100% of the reserved donation share goes directly to the selected organizations.

We want every donation to benefit the people who live directly in the area. That is why we search each individual Canary Island for specific social projects that we can support with the funds generated by Canarymedic.
2. Direct impact per booking
Our principle is simple: if a medical appointment is booked in Tenerife, for example, the corresponding donation should also go directly to a project in Tenerife. This creates a clear link between medical consultation and local impact.
3. Projects that strengthen the islands
The organizations we support do valuable work—from helping families in need to providing access to supplies and offering assistance to particularly vulnerable groups. In this way, we want to ensure that every donation makes a tangible contribution to strengthening the respective island community.

No. Participating doctors donate 10% of their fee for each booking through the CanaryMedic system, and therefore they are the ones who receive the donation receipt. The donation is forwarded transparently — 100% of the contributed amount goes directly to the supported organizations.
Yes, that is our intention. If your booking is made on Tenerife, for example, the donation should benefit a project based on Tenerife as well. This ensures a local connection and maximum impact.
We work exclusively with verified, locally rooted organizations. Every cooperation and every donation transfer is handled openly and transparently — with donation receipts and full forwarding of funds.

For you as a patient, nothing changes: you receive a medical consultation (online or in person) just as you normally would. In addition, your booking contributes to supporting people in need — at no extra cost to you.
